Purpose of Job
To drive, lead and support corporate network in development and strengthening of liabilities & loan Business using conventional transactional banking, alternate distribution channels and branchless banking platforms.
Implementing the delivery of sales strategies, Mobilizing deposits, achieving targets and motivating employees to meet and surpass the business targets.
Highlight accurate facts, figures from data received from area Branches and maintain reports..
Suggest & Manage sales, Deposit, cost of fund and resources for maximum value against plan, together with hiring on vacant positions at the Unit level in close coordination with HR.
Creating a high performance culture aligned with the vision and mission of the bank.
Strategic and General Management
Develop a culture and ensure implementation of full compliance of internal and SBP policies at all levels in branches and Close the loops on all internal audit and risk matters in his/her Unit within agreed time lines..
Act as liaison between Unit and head office for smooth working of the Hub/units. Build and maintain a culture aligned with bank’s values of highest level of transparency, integrity and strong ethics
Work extensively on Public relations to support managers for Liability generation through branch and Branchless solutions, Identify alternate revenue streams by initiating partnerships, integrations and improve the Bank's image leading to Business generation and review potential locations for Unit expansion in the Hub and finalize in liaison with Admin and HO.
Working closely with the Regional Head to Develop Product strategy.
Develop a service oriented culture and oversee resolution of all issues to improve customer experience standards and establishing clear communication with staff to address all concerns and grievances in a timely manner as per policy
Monitor and motivate all the employees in Unit and provide guidelines for achieving goals
Develop and conduct regular training sessions and indulge in the development of employees
Ensure quality standards at all levels and resolve any issues arising in assigned Unit
Discuss and set Specific, Measurable, Attainable, and Realistic & Time – based goals for staff working under him/her and monitor their performance in line with their set objectives.
Discuss and undertake the annual appraisals of all reporting staff
Ensure placement of succession planning of Unit.
Responsible for random review of asset and liability of Unit and customers in his/her area.
Monitor area PAR, NPL, Write-off, GLP, ENR, DLA, product mix, Recovery, active clients, deposit, current collection and Disbursement.
Assess metrics for performance by sales team with regular visits
Daily monitoring of MIS on Unit level for working in the individual zones (mobilization, 2H F2F, field visits)
Continuous Improvement and Change Implementation
Develop and inculcate a culture of zero tolerance to fraud and ensuring that appropriate and timely action is taken in case such an incident arises..
Ensure quality at all levels and develop and maintain a culture of zero tolerance on PAR.
Develop, design and implement overdue management strategies across their area and ensure that staff is well trained in the CPC (Consumer Protection Code) and follow it at all times..
Ensure compliance to internal policies and procedures.
Conduct market research and feasibility studies to identify new market opportunities to support the development of business initiatives.
