Purpose:

The Unit Head will lead the Quality Assurance (QA) function within the Risk Management Group, ensuring effective review, monitoring, and evaluation of risk processes across Risk functions. The role safeguards adherence to regulatory guidelines, internal policies, and best practices, thereby strengthening the overall risk management framework of the bank.

Job Responsibilities:

1. Conduct periodic quality reviews of Risk Function; primarily credit underwriting, credit administration, collections, and recovery processes.
2. Ensure compliance with SBP/SECP regulations, internal risk policies, and international best practices.
3. Monitor effectiveness of Risk management framework.
4. Identify gaps in risk assessment, documentation, or due diligence and propose process improvements.
5. Recommend corrective actions and policy enhancements.
6. Develop QA reports and dashboards for senior management and Board Risk Committee
7. Escalate material findings requiring management attention.
8. Provide training and awareness sessions to credit and risk teams on quality standards.
9. Promote a strong risk and compliance culture across the bank.
10. Any other responsibility assigned by the HOD.

Technical Competency:

1. Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and database management.
2. Analytical thinking and attention to detail. Experience in preparing reports and presentations.
3. Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.

Management Competency:

1. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
2. Ability to prioritize, work under pressure, and meet deadlines in a dynamic environment.
3. Strong coordination, follow-up, and problem-solving abilities.

Qualifications:

1. Minimum bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Risk Management, or related field.
2. 6–8 years of banking/microfinance experience, with at least 5 years in Risk/QA/IA/Compliance.
