As a Relationship Officer, you will be responsible for building a profitable asset portfolio for the branch by selling and marketing bank products to prospective clients. This role involves carefully analyzing clients' potential to repay loans in a timely manner.

Job Responsibilities:

1. Identify potential clients, both individuals and businesses, in need of loans.
2. Establish strong rapport and relationships with clients.
3. Act as a salesperson, persuading clients to obtain loans.
4. Assist clients in the loan application process.
5. Analyze and verify applications to determine clients' creditworthiness.
6. Complete documentation in accordance with the bank’s policy.
7. Obtain necessary approvals before disbursement from the BCC.
8. Disburse loans after all formalities are satisfactorily completed.
9. Help clients understand their loan repayment schedules.
10. Manage repayment schedules for timely recovery of monthly installments.
11. Follow up on delayed payments.
12. Initiate collateral liquidation if a client defaults on a loan.
13. Prepare daily activity reports to be sent to the BM/HO.
14. Mobilize deposits.
15. Perform any other tasks assigned by the line manager.

Competencies Required:

1. Achievement of assigned targets for assets and liabilities.
2. Experience in the microfinance banking industry is preferred.
3. Ability to work under pressure.
4. Strong presentation skills.
5. Excellent communication skills.

Experience and Qualification:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Commerce, or a related discipline.
• 2–4 Years of Relevant Banking Experience.
